Like any other cat, Alfie loves to spend the day sleeping on the couch in front of the fireplace. A few caresses and the occasional purr are enough for him to be happy, but, suddenly, he will be forced to leave the home in which he has grown up, he will find himself alone and lost in the streets of London. Everything changes when you reach Edgar Road, a place full of gardens and beautiful single-family houses. Alfie understands the lesson that only there will he feel at home again. Only there you can find a new family. The residents of the neighborhood, however, are not yet prepared to welcome it. Too absorbed in their problems, they have no time to take care of him, although they will soon discover that Alfie is not just any cat, but has a special gift: capable of intuiting people's best kept desires, Alfie can also repair what the destiny has broken into their lives and listen to the silent melody of their hearts.
