Instead of Forgetting rebuilds the intertwined memory of three families, the Ynsa's, the Pine's and the Bilbao's between 1872 and 1942. These years are not at random, the first one marks the start of the third Spanish Carlist War, after that, the establishment of the First Spanish Republic, and the second one, the strengthening of the Franco regime. With the backdrop of the Restoration, the monarchy of Alfonso the XIII, the dictatorship of Primo de Rivera, the Republic and the civil war, the reader follows little and great stories of characters, ancestors of the authors, that reflect a unique and unprecedented way of the Spanish intra history.
